Two Mermaids is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Mediterranean style luxury condo at the Brass Rail condo community on the south end of Tybee on the beach side of Butler Avenue. This adorable condo is full of beachy decor and local art; funky and fun!

Great beach/ocean view from your private balcony as well as seating on the balcony; the perfect spot for reading and relaxing! These condos are within very close walking distance to the beach, the Tybee Pier, shops, and restaurants! Bring your fur babies as Two Mermaids is pet-friendly! (pet fee will apply.)

Features include upgraded finishes and appliances, granite counters, custom cabinetry and stainless appliances.

Enjoy your complimentary sample of Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee; a special perk for all Mermaid Cottages guests!

Electric grill. Washer & dryer. Whirlpool tub and separate shower in the Master bath. Amenities include two private pools, outdoor sauna, elevators, and community picnic area. The community pool hours are 10am – 10pm and the pool is open all year round.
NOTE: POOLS ARE NOT HEATED. ONLY THE HOT TUB IS HEATED.

Garage parking for two vehicles!

ALSO NOTE: The parking garage has a 7 foot clearance. Oversized vehicles may not fit. No additional parking is available.

  Only complaint would be the dip going down to parking area. Do not take any low-sitting cars there or they will scrap.

  WOW, what a wonderful stay! Perfect location, layout and ammenities for our family stay ... 4 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of very close beach time, and pool time. Warm, modern, and comfortable beach themed unit. A very important safety improvement would be to ensure availability of one or more "keys" to unlock an accidental locking of an inside bedroom or bathroom door ... especially when kids are around.   M husband and I have rented from Mermaid Cottages for almost 20 years. This is the first time we have stayed in a condo instead of a house and we were delighted. It was the best of both worlds; beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon. Everything was within walking distance. Tybee Market was down the street and bars and restaurants were right around the corner. Our cars stayed parked in the covered garage the whole time. We celebrated my husbands birthday with friends at our favorite place! The mermaids had everything ready for us when we arrived and checked in to see if we were happy and needed anything. We have already booked with Mermaid Cottages for next summer. Can’t wait to come back����❤️

Great communication from start to finish, all concerns addressed. If I had any questions they were answered promptly! Super easy beach access, pool and hot tub were nice to have close. Only problem was with all the sand tracked in there wasn't a vacuum or swifter to clean things up. Would highly recommend.

The condo had PLENTY of space, the living room is HUGE! The property manager was very pleasant and easy to work with. She checked in on us the first two days and then let us enjoy our vacation. The location of the property is great! We walked to dinner several nights. Would definitely recommend!

  The space in the condo was perfect for five adults. Comfy beds and a wrap around patio were awesome. Proximity to the boardwalk was perfection and there’s an awesome little breakfast cafe on the corner. The only complaint we had was that Tybee gets super crowded with some less than ideal people. They were wilding out right outside the condo on the public street and made themselves at home on our rented golf cart. Definitely something to be aware of.

  Best Property Management Agency that I have dealt with! From the beginning, at booking my through check-out this company knows what guests need - convenient procedures that are well thought out and easy for guests to implement. The app was so helpful and we really liked that the agency provides a "starter kit" of the essentials so that in case you forget something - at least you will have what you need until you can get to a store. Great Job & Thanks for your personal touches - we loved the coffee! *The only disappointment was that we thought the condo was beach-front overlooking the ocean - we did have an ocean view from the side street... But, the pictures of the inside of the condo proved to be just as great as the actual condo was - we loved it!!!

  This is our second time staying in a Mermaid Cottages property. They have always been very nice and helpful. Their properties have always been very nice and clean. This time, we decided to stay a little closer to the pier and crowds to keep the walks to a minimum. The condo was very nice, spacious and clean. Parking was super easy and close to the elevator for easy access to the condo. We discovered that we prefer a slower paced location. It was not loud but there were a lot of people out and about. If you are looking for more of that scene, it is an amazing location. We will be back and will only use Mermaid Cottages upon our return.

  We visited Tybee Island over the Thanksgiving holiday and absolutely loved this beautiful three-bedroom condo. The decor was beachy perfect, the condo spotlessly clean, the kitchen equipped with everything we needed and the Mermaids are the friendliest and most accommodating hosts -- providing five-star service every step of the way! The outdoor hot tub at the condo complex was pretty sweet, too! We highly recommend staying in a Mermaid cottage or condo whenever you visit Tybee!

  Our second year here for a family vacation - still wonderful! I would recommend a new A/C unit though. While it was definitely quite hot outside, we could never get the temperature below 71 (despite being set at the mandatory 70) which is just too warm. My husband slept with only a sheet for cover and that NEVER happens. My sister was in the unit beneath us, with an obviously much newer A/C unit, and it was MUCH cooler! Other than that, a wonderful stay!

  This was just a PERFECT spot for our extended family vacation! Very clean and well kept. So close to the fishing pier which was great as our son-in-law is w/c bound and fishes non-stop. Got there on his own with no assistance. The people at Mermaid Cottages were kind enough to suggest the unit below (not owned by them) for the remainder of our family which made things SO convenient. Parking spaces for both units were right by the elevator and the pool was viewable from our front doors which made it easy to call in the kids. While not "ocean front" we had a lovely view of the ocean from our porch. Just a perfect place for our large gathering of family! We will be back!

    The last couple of people did what you did and rented additional units from other companies... and each one said to us that 'theirs' (Two Mermaids) was the cutest and everyone in the family was jealous! We love that corner unit ~ you really do get the best of it all: you're on the top floor, you have a view of the ocean and downtown/Tybee from the porch, and then you can see the kids at the pool from the front door. And you're the only one at that elevator stop so there's no awkward juggling of pool floaties when you run into the people next door. ;) Come and stay with us again soon!   My wife and I, and my sister and friend spent an enjoyable week at Two Mermaids, as part of our family reunion. The rest of the family stayed over at Lowell Ave. We enjoyed the access to the beach and restaurants, although we weren't very impressed with most of the restaurants. Spanky's was the exception, with very good food and service. Our unit was very suitable for the 4 of us. Master bedroom lacked a closet. Staff and management were very courteous and helpful. We also enjoyed the proximity to Savannah, Ft. Pulaski, and the 8th Air Force Museum. It was hot and muggy all week. We thought May or October would be an ideal time here. One minus was the overall lack of nature trails except at Ft. Pulaski.

  We had such a great time at the Mermaid Cottages! The place was clean, adorable, and we very comfortable. The wrap around porch was nice for sunrises and coffee and we had plenty of room to entertain for dinner and games. The location was very close to downtown Tybee Island so we could walk to the nightlife. The property managers were very nice and helpful leading up to and during our stay reaching out several times to give us tips for the busy St. Patrick's Day weekend and just to make sure we were enjoying our stay.   Myself, husband, 2 kids, and in laws stayed at the Condo and loved it. The condo featured charming art, and a cool long dining table made from restored wood. There are no pics of the balcony on this site, but it's big, had a grill, dining table, and you can see the ocean from one side. We were told that the floors had been replaced, so if you read that in other reviews, note that it's been fixed. Overall, the condo completed our stay. I love clean, new places, and this was it. Suggestions: an extra blanket in the house would be nice. One of the kids beds was surprisingly very high, not sure if there is a way to lower so if a child rolls over it'll be a shorter distance.

  We loved this property. The location couldn't have been better. Half block from beach and downtown area. We like to cook on vacation and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place was so perfect. Great indoor and outdoor space for our family of 5. Nice to have pool right outside too. Loved it! Only needed bedside tables and end tables.

  I couldn't be more pleased with our 6-day stay at Mermaid Cottages, Brass Rail Condos! I originally thought that we might not use the pool/hot tub as much since we were so close to the beach, but it was perfect to have for those days we didn't feel like battling the sand and salt water. In fact, we may have sat at the pool more! Our condo was so delightfully decorated and, except for the floors not being up to our standards, the place was clean and sparkling. We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony with the ocean view and then again to watch the sunset at night. It was perfectly located next to shopping and restaurants too. It offered something to everyone in our clan--ranging from age 16 to 70 years old. We absolutely loved Charlie's Crab Shack on the island--what a hidden treasure! And we were delighted that we were only 25 minutes from Historical Savannah and enjoyed many trips to visit. Although we never received a "welcome" call from management like others, the guide book was super helpful! Also, I loved the convenience of the Mermaid Cottage App. The only things I wished we had were a couple extra blankets and linens for one of our visiting daughters (SCAD college student) to crash on the sofa. I will definitely book again!

  Overall, we have a lovely 4 days at the condo. It reminded me of the phrase from the old song, "with all your faults, I love you still." We had a difficult time with the entrance gate until the caretaker told us to put in the code very quickly -- this was on the second day. We had to follow someone else in the first day. Also there was no listing anywhere of the code for the pedestrian gate -- the caretaker helped with that too. We loved the condo -- but surprised that there was no closet in the master bedroom. A door on the other side of the bathroom was locked -- I presume that was the closet, which the owner locked. Also the carpet in that bedroom was super stained or dirty. Needing cleaning badly. That bedroom also needed a bedside table.

  My family and I rented Two Mermaids for a nice family vacation/reunion. This was a great choice! Nice location to the beach, shops and out to dinner. The beds were comfortable, the decor was beautiful, loved the elevator straight outside the front door. (we had a condo one year where we had to walk up three flights to get to it). The kitchen had everything we needed to make a family meal and eat at the large table together. The pool was a lot smaller than the photo angle shows, but it was never too crowded so it ended up being the perfect pool. The balcony was enormous! I hope to book this condo again for our next family vacation. It was great! Thank you!

  Location, location, location! Two Mermaids is the quintessential condo to do all things "downtown Tybee".....short walking distance to the pier, beach (yes, ocean view from balcony), shops, restaurants, .....just perfect. Brass Rail villas have a really great resort vibe. Grounds immaculate, very secure, underground parking.....pool and hot tub just great! We spent almost every evening in the pool having a ball! The mermaids are so great, especially Mermaid Jan! We usually rent a cottage but Two Mermaids was a great change....see you soon Tybee!

  The location was perfect, very close walk to the beach, the walkway to the beach was just straight ahead of us as we walked toward the beach. The condo was decorated so cute, with lots of ocean like was very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect was very quiet and peaceful.   My daughter and I enjoyed a long weekend at Two Mermaids recently and loved every minute of t! The condo is decorated in a funky, beachy vibe and makes you happy the minute you enter! Everything we needed for our weekend stay was right there at our fingertips - nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture, great balcony with more than enough room for lounging around. Because we had never been to Tybee Island before, we were not knowledgeable enough to know that it isn't located directly on the ocean. The views from the balcony as shown in the pictures are found by leaning over the ledge of the balcony and looking down the road -- it is actually about a two block walk to the beach. While initially we were disappointed by this, we were totally won over by the condo itself. We saw two sides of Tybee Island -- on the weekend it was ridiculously crowded, but come Monday we practically had the beach to ourselves.

  We enjoyed our stay at 2 Mermaids. The condo was clean, and it was decorated perfectly for the beach. The location was great for the island. We were able to walk to local restaurants and shops! This condo is just steps from the beach. The weather was too cold to enjoy the pool, but we did use the hot tub. The grounds and pool area are well maintained. There is also 24 hour security, and the complex is gated. We loved the experience with Mermaid Cottages! They are awesome! Jan loaned us her own personal wagon for the beach! Thank you Jan. I love dealing with Mermaid Cottages because they treat you like friends. I have stayed at Sea Largo a few times. Their cottages are awesome too. Again, thank you Mernaids everything was perfect!

  What a great place - we brought our 4 children for spring break and had a wonderful time. Very clean and nicely appointed, loved the decor, great location (I'm sure it's much busier during peak season, but it was peaceful despite being very close to the pier). Short walk to the beach made it easy for the kids to go back and forth, and we made the short drive to Savannah during our stay. We hated to leave, already thinking about a return.
