Fully restored cottage; fresh and sparkling, this bright, clean, cozy space is the perfect place to relax and unplug...get away from it all and just hang out or...use it as your home base as you explore and enjoy all the food and fun Tybee has to offer!

  We have rented houses from “ the Mermaids” 5 times. Each house is unique and “ After Dune Delight” is our favorite- so far!
  The house was very clean and the decorating was really nice. Simple and loved the art on the walls. The screened porch was a nice feature. Plenty of chairs and a couple small tables. Maybe think about a hammock. That would be a great add.
  No bathtub in either bath but, nice updates and showers. Beds were comfortable. This house is located at end of street and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and beach.
  We would rent this house again. Tammie is always on top of her game and very helpful. 🩷

  The staff was very helpful during our stay. They notified me when the place was clean & that I could move in early. They also told me when events were going on, and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. The cottage itself was clean, they supplied everything we needed, with the house looking jist like the pictures. The location was a short walk to the main strip, the beaches, a boat launch, and a tour we went in. It always a great place which allowed us to relax as needed. I would definitely pick mermaid cottages again.

  We LOVED staying here. Both of us have been working from home for months with two young children home with us and needed a long break. The location is incredible - just steps from beach access, but still on a quiet street. The house is awesome with a great screened porch. The limes were ripe on the tree in the yard providing fresh limes. We already booked another week there for thanksgiving

  It was excellent! The staff communication was open, providing lots of information before, during and after your stay. They were available for any questions I might have as well. Afterdune Delight was a delight! The house was clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. The yard was well maintained and sufficient for my kids to enjoy outdoor activities. I truly appreciated the fact that the house was within walking distance to the beach! I was highly satisfied and will use you in the future as well as recommend you to my friends.

  This house was absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Typically when you find a rental online the photos usually look better than the actual place, but this home was even better than the photos! Very spacious, comfy beds, and has everything you need to make you feel “at home”. The location is perfect as well. Locate just a short walk from restaurants, beach shops, and the beach. At the end of our trip none of us wanted to leave.We really enjoyed our stay here and can not wait to come back next summer!

  Extremely comfortable and felt like more of a home than a rental. Super clean,?which is top priority for me!! The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage. The fully updated home had a great screened porch for storing water toys and sitting in for the evening. The location was prime for a short walk to the beach or even closer to Alley 3 sunsets and kayaking.
  The rental lacked nothing, except coasters to protect the furniture and a few more lighter weight dishes. It’s a pity that they won’t allow pets anymore or we would rent this place again and again. The dogs loved the fenced yard and fruit trees.
  It was the best cottage we’ve stayed in while coming to Tybee for years.
