Beachy peachy decor comfortable and cute. Nice little front yard for sunning and seeing little critters like gecko. Linens clean but scented from laundry products. Walkable to main drag w grocery stores etc.

Booking and paying was quick and easy. On arriving we were able to check in without fuss,but could not find the keys we were to use during our stay. these were delivered to us that evening. We could not find the BBQ tools, but we located them in the stove drawer at a later date. Check out was easy using the app on our phone.

We've always had good experiences with Mermaid Cottages and this cozy spot was no different. We were happy to find this one-bedroom gem. It's perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Super quiet location with a wonderful view of the marsh. Just a short walk to the beach. Kitchen includes coffee maker, blender, and microwave. Modern updates throughout. We also appreciated that we could bring our fur baby. Awesome customer service, too. We'll be back!

Mermaids always come through. Real pros are those who not only provide a nice living space but respond quickly to any problems that may show up unexpectedly. The shower drain was clogged and someone was out there, during a very busy time all over Tybee, in 30 minutes and had the situation fixed within an hour! That's an A+ for me!

I was lucky enough to have 30 days to live and work on Tybee Island. My stay, the cottage, the island and the people there are beyond wonderful -- a trip that has left such an imprint on my heart. :) The cottage is clean, just as pictured, safe and in the perfect location to bike or walk to the beach; bike to all the special spots of Tybee and be part of Island life. I miss it already, and will find a way to come back, next time for longer. Mermaid Cottages made it possible for me and my dogs to have such an incredible experience. The property was just as described, clean and well maintained, with all the amenities. It sits right on the marsh and was close to everything! The mermaids were so accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay Egret’s Marsh! The size was perfect for myself, my 8 year old and our dog—spacious living room area, very functional kitchen with all that we needed, comfortable bed, and convenient full bathroom. We could walk to the beach daily, pop around the island for great take out, and head down to the south end for gorgeous sunsets! Always pleased with the stays we’ve had with the Mermaid’s and we look forward to our next visit! We live Tybee Island and cherish every opportunity to get on Tybee Time!

What a lovely experience. Business brought me down to Tybee on a bit of an unexpected trip and I was lucky enough to be able to book a Mermaid Cottage. Such a beautiful one bedroom on the lower level, bright and cheery, well-equipped. The location on the edge of the salt marsh made for enchanting evenings and early mornings listening to the sounds of the marsh. The convenient location meant I could park the car there and walk to local restaurants, shops, and the beach by Tybee Pavillion. The rental process and check-in, check-out were smooth and easy. The staff are so helpful. Special shout out to Tammy, who called to check that I had everything I needed prior to arrival and gave me her contact information in case I needed anything. She went above and beyond when first there was an accident on the bridge and I was stuck on the highway. After trying to find info myself through local news stations, I texted her and she called me back right away to let me know where to get updates. Then when my forgetful old self left a couple of items of clothing at the house, she arranged to locate them and is in the process of helping them make their way back to me. I look forward to my next trip back.
