Note: Parking is in the rear of the cottage and is accessible from 7th Avenue. No parking on Venetian side of property.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cottage. The property was clean and very comfortable for our party of 5. This was an excellent location, especially for views of the sunset. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking out over the river/marsh area. We exercised and even attempted a little fishing off of the dock. The management team was super friendly and checked on us multiple times via text to make sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again for future trips to beautiful Tybee.

  It was nice. Everything was good. If I owned the property I would clean up the landscaping, install an outside shower, pressure wash the walkway from the back door and refesh the dock area.But those are just personal things. The house was really nice . If I had a complaint I would say the living room furniture was uncomfortable.

  This was our 5th summer staying at a Mermaid Cottage, and first time at Sunset Inlet--it was amazing (all of their cottages are awesome, but this might be our favorite yet!). The cottage is larger than the pictures show with lots of living space and great sized bedrooms. It was a very easy walk to the beach, had great spacious covered parking and is funny equipped for all your cooking/living needs and beautifully decorated. The private dock on the marsh is a huge bonus--we spent every evening out there with appetizers/dinner and drinks watching the gorgeous sunsets. As always, the Mermaids took care of everything and our stay was seamless and perfect. We are already looking forward to our annual visit next summer!

  Extremely pleasant experience! Everyone we talked to was professional and courteous and the photos did not do the property justice! The property and the home were larger than the photos made it appear with nice parking and the neighbors where very pleasant and fun to chat with. The very short walk to AJ's Dockside was a bonus. Would definitely stay at again!

  We had a very nice time at this Mermaid Cottage home. We were able to walk to the beach 6 blocks away, rode our bikes around the island and walked our dogs through the residential streets. When the tide came in, the marsh view really took off; we had a beautiful sunset on our last evening. We also noted the many other Mermaid Cottages and they are all very nice with unique characters to them. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

  While we enjoyed our first visit to Tybee Island and our accomodations were a good value for the price, we did experience a bug problem inside the house. The palmetto bugs were huge and not afraid of us. There weren't enough towels and the blankets were old and yellowed.

  We had the best time tis Easter. The house was charming and had everything we needed. I cook on vacation and the kitchen was well equiped. Loved tth dock and used it everytday. The garage was great to protect our cars and we had plenty of space to hold all the bikes we brought. This is our second trip toMermaid cottages and both have exceeded our expectations.

  This property is in a nice, quiet location. The private dock offers a great view of the marsh. It's a less-than 10-minute walk to the beach. Great place for a large group. Could use some clean-up on the exterior. It's not going to "wow" you if you're expecting everything inside to be new and beautiful, but it has updated bathrooms and good bedding. The kitchen is older, and some of the living room furniture is worn. The sunroom is especially nice.
